My best friend and I used to embark on many adventures when we were in Sudan. The great thing about us as a tag team is we were always down for doing things spontaneously and had great stories to tell later. So one Saturday day we decided to go shopping at this Syrian fair in Sudan, but somehow we later found ourselves at this pretty cool Mango Festival at the Hilton hotel in Khartoum. I think we ran into someone that we knew at the fair, that was an agriculture major at khartoum university that invited us. Sounded pretty cool, so we were down for it. It was pretty much Mango madness, because everything was made of mango. Mango jelly, mango cake, mango pie, mango juice, mango soda, mango everything and they even had a mango fountain. There were all types of mango’s, some as big as a baby, and some tiny mango’s that had a slight taste of mint. It was pretty awesome. We even ran into the famous Sudanese singer Jamal Farfour at the Mango festival. I don’t have many pics from that day because it was just one of those days where we ended up going somewhere completely outta the plan, but here are a few.
